33% of adolescents in the United States experience some form of dating violence.

1 in 4 teen dating violence cases involve cyber abuse, such as unwanted texting or harassment.

14-17 year-old girls are a leading demographic of date-rape victims, with more than 40% having experienced sexual violence in a relationship.

21% of LGBTQIA+ high school students experience some form of physical dating violence.

1.5 million high school students nationwide experience physical abuse from a partner each year.
Teen Dating Violence
Understanding and addressing teen dating violence is a vital aspect of combating domestic violence. Explore the warning signs, learn about healthy relationship behaviors, and access resources to support teens in building safe and respectful connections. By raising awareness and promoting education, we strive to empower young individuals to recognize, prevent, and break the cycle of dating violence.

Dating Violence Education: Brinkley High School Students invited Second Chance DVSA Shelter to come out once again to learn about healthy relationships. The students participated in open discussions about real life scenarios, they expressed their ideas of love and what healthy relationships look like through their art collages. We are so grateful to share knowledge with the next generation.
