Did you know that we are required by our federal grants to match the money they give us, we are required to have over 500 hours or $13,700.00 of volunteer time for this grant year; each hour that you volunteer they pay us $27.40 that goes toward our match.
How can you Volunteer?

You can be a mentor to guest.

You could hold a support group / or one on one conversations.

You could have a cooking class or craft group.

You could spend time with the children in shelter.
What it takes!

Stop in at the shelter and get an application.

Turn in and talk with us about how you can volunteer your time.

You will be required to pass a background check, this just requires a photo ID, this can be completed in a couple of days.

There is a training period that you will have to complete with the shelter manager, this can be stretched out over a couple of weeks if desired or done all in one day.

You can volunteer at the same time every week or we can work around your schedule, you will schedule with our Shelter Manager.
